Following the success of last year’s 70th Anniversary tournament, the league has decided to make it an annual event. This year’s event is taking place on Sunday 18th May at William Edwards School & Sports College. This was the same venue as last year and is a great venue for badminton due to the amount of courts available.
Paula has emailed out the entry form to everyone. If you’re interested in entering, have a chat with the other members to see who else fancies entering and pair up. The closing date for completed entry forms is Saturday 3rd May so you’ve got just over 2 months to get your entry together. The entry fee is £12 per person and all of the terms and conditions are on the entry form.
I played in last year’s tournament and the standard was very high. With the addition of a handicap system, there were a lot of good games played and the feedback has been positive enough to make it an annual event which is great.
