Last night was the final fixture of 2014 for our teams and it was going to be a tough one for the Men’s 2 team at home to 7 Kings. The opposition are joint favourites with Frenford to win Division 4 so it was going to need something special from our lads to get a result.
It was a tough night for the lads against a strong 7 Kings team. Big thanks to Peter who stepped in to partner Darran.
It was nearly a no-show from 7 kings, with three of their players not arriving until around 8pm! However, the match could start with the other three so things were not delayed too much.
Once things got under-way, however, it was clear from the off that we were outmatched and we were quickly beaten in straight games.
Final score 0-9 to 7 Kings who go top of the table. We remain in third, one point ahead of Barking 4 who have 2 games in hand.
