Tonight our Mixed team were playing at home to Emerson Eagles in the BHDBL Mixed Division 1. Despite starting late (and having a packed club night!), the matches were close run affairs with the last match coming off court at the stroke of 10pm.

With some very close games (finishing 21-20 or 21-19) it just wasn’t to be. Poor Penny & Tom got their money’s worth by playing all three of their matches to a decider!
At the end of the night it just wasn’t to be and despite some really close games, it ended up finishing 3-6 in favour of Emerson Eagles. The result leaves us bottom of the table still looking for our first win. The next 2 matches are both against top of the table Redbridge – first away on April 5th and then at home on May 3rd.
Thanks to everyone who played tonight and I just wish things had just gone our way as things were so close!
Next match for the club is the Mixed Combi Division 2 match next week at home to top of the table Hunters.
