Well, the Barking and Havering District League held its 70th Anniversary dinner dance last night at Top Meadow Golf Club. It was a great night out for everyone who attended and was such a success that it was decided to make it an annual event. With the tournament and the dinner dance now being annual events, it can only be good for the league.
The contingent from Corinthians seemed to have a good night (I left early since I had no chance of a lie in the next day) and I’m sure there will be some sore heads this morning! There were some very, erm, ‘interesting’ dance moves being thrown on the dance floor by some members who shall remain nameless!
