The website update has now been completed (for now).  I’ve updated the layout to make it a bit easier to find the latest news while navigating the site.  The upcoming events will be shown on each page as well.  The colour scheme matches our t-shirts now (the unofficial club colours!) and the social media icons are more prominent.

As the season has just finished, I have left the current league tables up for show.  However, the results pages are not working due to an unavoidable glitch.  However, since I am moving across to a new way of recording and displaying the league tables and fixtures/results list, I am not going to spend any time trying to make the current results show up.

Once the AGM has taken place, I’ll update the website again to show the new league tables for the 2014/2015 season.  These will be a lot better than the current ones to update – not that you’ll benefit but it will mean that I spend less time updating them all!  The fixture/result list will also be slightly different as you will see an option to either review the fixture (if it’s in the future) or recap on the match (if it’s happened).  When you review the fixture, you will be able to see the date and time of the match along with a map showing the venue.  When you recap on the match, you will be able to see a copy of the actual score sheet from the match as well as the information mentioned above.

The new league tables will also be visible in the side bars on each page so you don’t have to go through the various menu options to find the one you are looking for.

In addition, the new website is fully compatible with mobile devices so you should be able to read it easily on your phone as it will automatically change to a mobile compatible site.

So, all that remains to say is that if you have any suggestions for the website (sorry – member’s suggestions only!), please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
