We were off to yet another rocky start in our 2nd match of the season. Kev was unavailable and Tom was still injured from the men’s match last Friday.
So my huge thanks go out to David for filling in for Kev and Kirk for replacing Tom at very short notice this morning.
Andy partnered Ruth, who is still recovering from her operation, despite this they put up a good fight.
Kirk and Penny started well taking their first game to 3, but unfortunately lost. Kirk was injured in their second game as a result they were forced to forfeit their final game. I hope it’s not too serious and we wish Kirk a speedy recovery.
David and I lost our first, took the second to 3 games,
then won our final game.
