Wednesday night was the turn of the Ladies C pairing to play their away fixture at Emerson Park’s home venue.
With all the Corinthians pairs being moved around to cover injuries and illnesses, it was time for Jill and Jo to step up and represent the club in Division 2.
First game was against the Wychelm B pairing. As it was, Jill and Jo were too strong for the opposition and blasted their way to a 21-8, 21-11 win to take the first match point of the night.
After a short break, if was back on the court against the Hunters B pairing. With Jill and Jo on top form, there was nothing that was going to stop them. They finished comfortable winners 21-12, 21-12.
Such was the magnitude of the win, Jo managed to make it back to the club night in time for some warm down games!
