Our plans for playing the Men’s and Mixed fixtures at Hornchurch Sports Centre have been scuppered by the venue. They’ve given half of our court time to circuit training effectively meaning we can’t have our matches there.
Faced with the choice of a last minute venue scramble and increased costs for our first match (Mixed 1 vs Redbridge at home) we’ve decided to revert the home matches to Bower Park School. Unfortunately this will mean less space on match nights like last season but it’s all we have at the moment.
We’ll continue to look around but for the immediate future, the matches will be at Bower Park School.
The calendar and fixture lists have been updated on the website to show the changes.
If you are coming to badminton this Wednesday then please be aware of the match and please show your support to the team.
